In February, we were visited by cat therapists Harry and William, gentle Ragdoll cats. The visit was part of a cat therapy program that supports children's emotional and social development in a natural and warm way.
Contact with a cat teaches gentleness, empathy, and respect for living creatures. Children learned the rules of safe interaction with animals, learned to read their signals, and understood their needs. This type of relationship helps regulate emotions, build mindfulness, and a sense of security.
Close contact with the cat, its calm purring, and the observation of its gentle movements also supported sensory integration processes and calmed the nervous system. There was also joyful "cat yoga," which developed body awareness and brought many smiles to the children.
That day we also organised a food collection for the āKoci Azylā shelter, showing that even the smallest gestures have great power.
It was a day full of warmth, mindfulness and beautiful emotions ā exactly the kind that are close to the heart of Baby English Academy š¾
